Stag Tobacconists

I finally found the real deal in Albuquerque! I was here on business a few weeks ago, and travel to Albuquerque at least once a month. I am a pipe smoker and had yet to find a good shop until someone at my hotel recommended Stag. There has to be over a thousand pipes to choose from in all grades. I bought one, and was encouraged to try one of their house blends from their sample tobacco jars. I'm hooked now on Stag and their Bosses Blend. I was able to sit in their cozy lounge (for free) and I smoked my pipe and enjoyed the company of some of their regulars. I was invited to attend their "pipe night" the next day, and met 20 other pipe smokers who were so generous to share 20 different tobaccos that they brought to share. They even do custom blending if you can't find what you are looking for! Great place to shop and I highly recommend them!

I've been shopping in this store for years, and I just happened upon it when I moved here a few years ago. What I am always impressed by is the knowledge that they employees have of everything they sell. I buy cigars for my husband, and they have a great selection and are always adding something new. I roll my own cigarettes, and they sell only top-quality cigarette tobaccos and everything else I need.

This is the most diversified tobacconist in New Mexico. I love this place. They have the greatest selection of roll your own and an incredible selection of cigars! The people are real knowledgeable and friendly. Tobacco Road down the street seems sells for about the same price but it always seems dry. I would definitely not go there!

... at least if you roll your own cigarettes.American Spirit Tobacco is a full 21% higher per tin than at humble Tobacco Road -- $39-something to $31-something.Plus they are passing off Peter Stokkebye cigarette tobacco as "all-natural" when even Stokkebye's site doesn't make that claim: The stuff is just loaded with flavorings, toppings, humectants (read: anti-freeze), etc.You like the "tobacco snob" routine and paying more than you need to for the privilege of seeing it, fine.Otherwise keep your distance.
