IHOP

A friend and I w/our two small children ate breakfast on Friday February 20, 2009.Let me just say the service was terrible. We had to wait 50 minutes to get our food, once we had gotten it; it was not even warm...to say the least. The service was less to be desired, our waitress unfriendly and didn't come back to fill our drinks on her own in which she had walked by our table a thousand times it seemed, we had to stop her countless times to fill our drinks for us. I spoke with the manager and only got a lame "sorry".I enjoy this restaurant normally but this was just not acceptable service in any aspect.

Last night my sister and I went into dine at this restaurant. The time was 9:35 p.m. Closing time listed on the door was 10:00p.m. We were wanting a quick meal before going into work ourselves, as we had been out earlier on another job and hadn't had time to eat. Two employees were sitting in the customer waiting area, and another employee was standing there talking among theirselves. One of the employees sitting on the bench looked up at us and told us, "We're closing in 10 minutes." The parking lot was full and there were other customers in the dining area. We could not believe how rudely we were treated!!! As we were walking out the door, the employee who had been standing said "Smoking or non-smoking."I felt like I had been slapped in the face!!! I have never had anyone in the restaurant business act this way towards me before!! I feel the management of this particular IHOP needs to retrain their employees in customer service.
