If you want to over pay for fees and rates Merchant Services is a good choice.

horrible place to work. way too many chiefs thinking they run the place. laid off hundreds of people and then the president of the company apologized? to who? the people who still had their jobs? highest company to charge processing fees. turnover awful.

I have tried to contact you by telephone and cannot reach you. We are totally satisfied with your company. However, I've been getting calls to our company that is possibly a "scam" in the making. They are very pushy and tried to convince me they were calling from your office. They wanted me to fax them copies of my statements from you so they could see if we were being charged correctly for your services because we "might be" being over charged.

Reliable merchant services and friendly people when you call in. Honestly, any negative experiences like the one posted here can be avoided by actually reading your statement. Their customer service is friendly in comparison to other companies out there-- have you TRIED calling First Data? I've had no issues with Elavon when I've needed to call in, but then again I don't treat the person trying to help me like garbage.

If you're looking for customer service people with an attitude, this is your place! Can't talk to a supervisor, either -- their "policy" won't allow it! Too many other places to do business with than to have to put up with their garbage. If you're considering these folks to handle your accounts, DON'T! You'll live to regret it.

I have been in this industry for over 10 years. I've seen the good, the bad, and the ugly. Elavon is by far the best of the best amongst its peers. Yeah...its never fun to pay fees for anything, but they are a good company with good people who work there. Sure you'll come across a bad apple here and there. But be grateful their cust serv is still in the US and not overseas! I ve seen merchants try to get out of contracts where they had to pay $200/month on the remainder of their contract. This is sheer robbery. But there are people who will try to rob you blind.

I have been happy with Elavon, they used to be NOVA Information Systems. No issues, just reliable merchant services processing for my business and their Internet Secure product has really helped with PCI using the tokenization tool. The other review mentioned their website as novacorp.net but this is not accurate - their website is elavon.com. The previous review from "Bill" complians of the PCI charge but it's my understanding that PCI (data security) compliance is required by Visa, MasterCard and maybe even the law - all credit card processors have to make sure their merchants are in compliance with the rules (and laws). Maybe "Bill" doesn't care for the rules and is ok with compromising his customers credit card data?? Bill, please tell us what business you have so we will all know not to use our credit/debit cards there since you are not in compliance with the rules to protect our customer data!!

Charged me $20.00/mo for being "noncompliant" with the "PCI Compliance". This program was outlined in a letter they supposedly sent me (by non-registered mail). I found the charge on the second statement and called them for an explanation. After explaining the situation, they would not reverse the charges. I would NOT do business with these people. There are many other merchant service companies available.
